Interview with a Prefect: Arielle Foster

Our interview is featuring the PA/Prefect Arielle Foster. Q is the question (asked by Avani Granger, intern for the HDN.) A is the answer from PA Arielle Foster.

Q: I believe you are a PA in two classes, wow! How did you get chosen?

A: I PA for Transfiguration and History of Magic, and am Head Girl for Care of Magical Creatures! I applied to the applications posted in the Newsroom.

Q: Have you been taking other courses? If so, why?

A: As of right now, I am not currently working on any classes other than those I PA for. My goal is to catch up in those classes so I can grade more assignments and answer more questions. However, once that is done, I hope to return to working on other classes. If I had any tips for students, I'd say to take your time with courses. I know it is easy to rush through them, but I can assure that they won't end well for you, especially from a grading standpoint.

Q: Are you ever stressed with the grading queue?

A: Not really. Transfiguration was quite backed up for awhile, but even then, the entire PA team worked very hard to grade as fast as they can. I always try to empty the queues at least once a day, and they normally aren't too full.

Q: What is your favourite and least favourite subject? Why?

A: I'm trying not to be biased, but I think my favorite class has always been History of Magic. Obviously that is not to discredit any other class (whether I PA for it or not), as they are all incredibly interesting and have amazing teams of Professors and PA's behind the scenes, I have just always loved history and I find the lesson material very interesting. Moreover, I don't really have a least favorite subject. Although, I'm not the best at math/equations, so I do struggle with any course that requires that.

Q: What is your favourite thing to do on HIH?

A: love talking to students! I like to talk about courses and answer any questions people may have. I also like completing assignments.

Q: Overall do you think you enjoy your time as a PA?

A: Yes, duh! I wouldn't trade it for the world and I am so glad I found this website!

After the eight films released, three other films will appear in 2016, 2018 and 2020. It was during the preview of the last film that J.K. Fun Fact

Here is today’s issue’s fun fact:

In order to get to know the Trio well, director Alfonso Cuaron had each of them write an essay about their characters. Emma Watson wrote a 16 page essay, Daniel Radcliffe wrote a simple one-page paper, and Rupert Grint never even turned it in.
Kinda tough for me to imagine writing a SIXTEEN PAGE LONG essay about myself, no wonder Hermione was really smart! Plus, Rupert not turning his essay in is classic Ron Weasley behavior!
