First Short Story: The Evil Twin
Chapter 1

The ocean breeze ran though my hair, as I ran for help. I turned around and found the thing I dreaded most. Melvina, my evil twin sister. She had killed mother and I was to busy running away from my fast sister to even cry. I hid against a lifeguard chair. "Oh Devina. Where are you? Come, give your 5 minutes older sister a hug!", Melvina said, slowly coming towards me. I gulped. I crawled on soft black sand, trembling from head to toe. It was midnight, The moon rose high above the sky, making me remember how Mel turned to the dark side. That day was a sunny beautiful day. We'd gone to the park and had a great time that day. It all really started when we were camping under the stars. It was a full moon, and my sister Mel had took a little walk with me. Our 13 year-old selves talking about boys didn't notice the moon was different. It was darker than usual. That's when a beam of light shot from the moon. I screamed, but Mel didn't. The moon whispered something to her, and Mel nodded with an evil smile.
Now that I'm 16, and Mel more powerful than ever, I was trying to escape from her.
As I crawled through the sand, I turned around. Melvina was standing there. Her long silky black hair gleaming in the moonlight, her dark purple and black dress sparkling. She grabbed her staff off the ground and pointed it right at me.
