Chapter 6
POST HOGWARTS
For my future I didn’t have much of a choice. I had wanted to be an Auror or something similar anyway, only because of Tonks and I knew that being able to transfigure was a good card to hold. However, my father pulled many strings. At the time he had various Death Eaters infiltrating the Ministry and he liked the idea that he could get me in as well. In September 1998 I was to start at the Ministry of Magic Auror training program. I was a specialist trainee in transfiguration due to my personal skills and mentored by Nymphadora Tonks. The paperwork was much less but there was a lot to learn. Things that you don’t learn in class. I continued on this track despite everything that came with it. For my second year I became part of the Department of Mystery & Auror training. In this department I still used my transfiguration skills but it required a lot of questioning. I was very skilled at this too. I am still called by the Auror office for my skills to do various jobs but I prefer to take on quieter jobs.

Post Hogwarts, I was told by a friend that I should take a teacher training course. I have done this and so far, it has come in quite useful. I am often called in to lecture in transfiguration and life as an Auror. Unlike my uncle I have already been allowed to teach Defence against the Dark Arts. I have been asked to fill in as Potions teacher on the odd occasion but it is one that I still find hard to do. If you look at my CV today you will find various professions on it including: professor, auror, shop keeper… (the list continues)
