Hogwarts Years 4 & 5
Chapter 4
YEAR 4 1993-1994:
I now had an OWL and NEWT in Transfiguration however I was still and underage witch. It left me with time on my hands whilst others were in class. I sometimes spent it outside or in the library, but mostly in the shrieking shack. This was hampered by the fact that Professor McGonagall would often want be to stay with the class or practice work with her. Otherwise I continued on the same journey of Ancient Runes, Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, now with Hagrid, which meant it was very much as before, Charms, Defence against the Dark Arts, now with Professor Lupin which was fantastic, Flying, Herbology, History of Magic, Muggle Studies, Music & Potions.
YEAR 5 1994-1995:
If you didn’t realise it already this is the year in which you take your OWLs. It feels like you have a lot of classes and a lot of work to do. I was taking OWLs in Ancient Runes, Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Defence against the Dark Arts, now with Professor Moody, Herbology, History of Magic, Muggle Studies and Potions. It felt like a lot and I ended up with 10 OWLs O or E Some I decided to take the OWL because the Professor was going to be a bit easier, such as History of Magic. Other classes I took but never did an exam because to be an Auror I was told you need to handle a broom to a certain level and you might as well keep it up.
