Chapter 9
Izuku was struggling with figuring out how to sail. He kept muttering the same line over and over again. “I am Izuku of Motunui. You will board my boat, sail across the sea, and restore the heart of Shoto.”
After a bit, Izuku hears a thumping. “I am Izuku of Motu...nui.” He puts down the objects and crawls forward. Suddenly a coconut half popped up, and he jumped back. He lifts the coconut, but slams it back down. “Denki?!”
He picks up the yellow chicken and takes the coconut off. The chicken looks around, noticing they’re in the middle of the ocean. Then he starts screaming.
Izuku slams the coconut back over his head, and lifts it. When Denki still screams, he slams it down again. This happens a couple times before Izuku slowly lifts it up. “It’s okay. You’re alright.”
Denki waddled forward a little as Izuku put down the coconut. “Yes...see? There we go. Nice water. The ocean is a friend of mine.” He said, running his hand along the top of the water. Denki tilts his head and walks right into the ocean.
“Denki?” Izuku looks around before spotting the yellow chicken’s feet. “Denki!” he dives in, and grabs the chicken. He swims back to the ship as it tries to sail away.
Izuku manages to climb out, and it glaring at Denki. When Izuku turns to fix something, he makes a beeline for the water. Izuku manages to catch him, and places him in the hole where Izuku was hiding his food. “Stay.” He ordered, and Denki started waking back and forth.
“Next stop, Katsuki.” He said, sailing again.

He continues to repeat the lines as he fights the sea, Denki sliding back and forth.
At night, Izuku drifts off to sleep, mumbling the lines again. The water sticks up and slaps him, causing him to snap awake. “Board my boat!” He exclaims.
He looks around, and groans and he turns, seeing he passed the fish hook. He turned the boat around, but the one side stuck up, and before he could push it back down, the whole thing crashed.
Izuku came up spluttering, and looked up at Denki, standing on the bottom of the boat. He turns, seeing a giant storm coming for them.
“Uh, ocean? Can I get a little help here?” The wind picks up. “No…no. Please. Come on, help me.” He attempts to flip his boat right, but the water is against him. He looks up as a giant wave crashes above him. “Please…”

Izuku sits up on a sandy beach, shaking sand out of his hair. He dusts off the cloth around his waist, and stomps over to the shore.
“Ehmm...what?! I said help me! And wrecking my boat?! Not helping!” He went to kick the ocean, but it pulled back, and he tripped. He pushed himself up. “Fish pee in you...all day!”
Izuku turned, and noticed the tallies. Thousands of tallies, all forming fish hooks. Izuku turned back to the water. “So...Katsuki?” The water popped up and gave him a nod. Izuku turned and noticed the shadow coming his way. “Katsuki.”
He grabbed his oar and Denki and hid behind the boat. “Katsuki, demigod of the wind and sea, I am Izuku of Motunui. You will board my boat. No, you will board my boat.” When he said “will”, he thrust the oar forward a bit. “Yeah. I am Izuku of Motunui.” Izuku popped his head around, but no one was there. “You will board my…”
“Boat! F**king finally! Y’all finally paid attention to - What the f**k?!” someone lifted the boat hiding Izuku, and when he saw Izuku, he screamed, cursed, and dropped it. He picked it up, but only Denki had been pushed into the sand a bit.
Izuku cleared his throat, holding the oar like a weapon. The guy turned around, and Izuku saw just how truly gorgeous this guy was.
His skin was as pale as Izuku’s, despite having been on this island for a thousand years. He had spiky ash blonde hair and crimson red eyes. He wore a skirt made from leaves and held together by some fiber string. On his wrists were leaf bracelets, held by red string. Gray fabric connected to bracelets to armbands, made the same way. He also wore a necklace of shark teeth. Every inch of his skin was covered in tattoos.
“Katsuki, shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea. I am Izuku-“
“Hero of Man, dumb**s.”
“Wh..what?” Izuku was startled. He had never thought he’d be interrupted, and in such a weird way. What an attitude!
“It’s f**king Katsuki, shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, hero of man. Even a dumb**s like you should know that.” He crossed his one arm, raising an eyebrow. Izuku inhaled and prepared to continue, trying to hide his blush.
“I am Izu-“
“Wait, f**k. I meant all. I’m a god**n hero to f**king all. I’m not f**king sexist.”
Izuku was now majorly startled and flustered. “What? No, I came here to-“
“Oh, no f**king s**t, I’m stupid.” Katsuki put the boat down, smacking his head. “Sure. F**k. Let me...” He took the oar out of Izuku’s hands, and picked up Denki. He flung Denki over his shoulder, and presented the oar to Izuku. He had etched a heart and a fish hook onto it.
He laughed and leaned against the boat. “Don’t thank me, I’m f**king awesome. Be honored you little useless s**t.”
Izuku whacked him in the stomach with the oar and grabbed his ear. “I am not useless. I am not here for you to sign my oar.” He opened his necklace, then snapped it shut. “I am here because you stole the heart of Shoto, and you will board my boat, sail across the sea, and put it back.” He reaches for his oar, struggling a bit.
Katsuki stood up, leaving Izuku on his toes. “Yeah, uhhh, f**k you. It’s f**king impossible for you to not like me, cause, uh, I wasted a f**king thousand years here on this useless piece of s**t trying help you useless little s**ts.
“Yeah. So what I believe you were trying to say, dumb**s, is f**king thank you.”
“Thank you?”
“You’re welcome, dumb**s!”
“Wait, no, no, no. I-I didn’t… I wasn’t… why would I ever say-"
