Just purchased this journal from Flourish and Blotts. Met an obnoxious pure-blood, we got in an argument about if Herpo the Foul was the first to breed the Basilisk, in which he said that Merlin Ambrosius had discovered the Basilisk before he became an oak tree. Had to dodge some hexes from the pure-blood idiot. Shot him away with Alerte Ascendre.

Out of the book store. stopped by Potage's Cauldron Shop, buying a brass cauldron. Went back home after I received dried nettles from the Apothecary. Brewed a Sleeping Draught, was quite simple. Went to bed after a supper of cockatrice eggs and kelpie meat. Now turning off the lights. Have to go to a meeting in the Order of Merlin tomorrow.
