Chapter 1
Student Council and House Representatives
Did you know that HiH has a student council group?
Here it is… https://www.hogwartsishere.com/groups/35837/
The Hogwarts Student Council works to make HiH a better place, and speaking of that, in the next month we will be posting advertisements for the student council positions.
Also, elections for Hogwarts House Representatives are going to be held soon! You can join the student council group to see all the candidates and their campaigns/posters. That will help you decide which candidate to choose for each house. Now, when is this the voting? THE VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE ON JULY 21. Make sure you vote on July 21. This date may change, but this is the most likely date.
At 12:00 pm Pacific Time on July 21, the winners of the election will be announced. If the date changes, we will make sure to tell you guys!
In the upcoming election for house reps., there are a few candidates running for each house. When the time comes for voting, you can pick one person to be a house representative for each house. Joining the Student Council Group does not mean you are part of the official group (unless you are), it is just public so you can check out the candidates and see their ideas to pick which one you want to vote for.
There are also several books about different candidates’ campaigns, plans, and why you should vote for them in the HiH library. But, joining the Hogwarts Student Council Group (just to see all the candidates, not to actually participate in the Council) is your best bet to see all the house representative candidates and what they have to offer.
Each candidate has some posters advertising their campaign and why you should vote for them, so if you want to check those out, remember, just join the council!
So, in conclusion, house representative elections for the Hogwarts Student Council are coming up! Make sure you vote for your favorite candidate for each house on July 21 when voting occurs. If you want to see all the candidates’ campaigns and ideas, join the Student Council Group (not actually to do things in the Council, just to see the candidates’ ideas.”
(I would like to say that I am not part of the official student council, I just joined the group to check out the different candidates to pick which one I want to vote for.)

What is the average age of people on HIH?
While talking to people who share common interests on an online game like HIH (the common interest being Harry Potter).You can’t help but make friends with people! While this is an awesome thing it might make you curious about the person on the other side of the screen is.While that information remains classified for safety reasons we did take an anonymous poll where people could share their ages. We had over twenty responses! We asked two questions: 1. How old are you? 2. What do you think the average age of HIH players is? Your predictions were very off. Y'all's estimation hit at about 16. The oldest estimated was twenty-four and the youngest was 11 (only 1 person). While looking at the age most people answered that they were eleven. When you average it, it comes out to twelve-years-old. The oldest person who answered was twenty-four and the youngest person was nine! We will take another wave of answers to do part two.
