Birthday Surprise...
Chapter 2
June 2nd (aka, my b-day):
Well, today's my birthday, and, I gotta say, I have a feeling I'm gonna get a LOT of presents!
My parents invited the whole family. Grandparents, cousins, uncles, friends!
I woke up, and, across the room was a big poster saying "Happy Birthday!". I saw it immediately when I woke up. When I came downstairs, there were pancakes, cookies, and a strawberry milkshake! Breakfast is served.
I thanked my parents for my big breakfast, and started munching away!
The doorbell rang a minute later. My grandpa went to open the door. There, in the sunlight, holding a letter, was a tall dude with a name tag: Ministry of Magic: Ben Smackerbolt. I snorted. Magic? There was no such thing!
The tall dude, Ben, looked around the room, and set his eyes on me. "Why! Hello! You must be Miley Sanber! Well, remember all those childish stories about magic your grandparents use to tell ya? Well, magic's real!" Ben said, enthusiastically. I fainted.
