I Befriend Autumn
Chapter 10
September 1st
Hello diary! I cannot believe I'm going to Hogwarts! I mean, until only a few months ago, I was just a normal muggle. Then, on the morning of my birthday, a guy named Ben burst in, telling me I was a witch! Then, we together went to Diagon Alley, where we bought all sorts of school supplies! I even bought a bird for school! Snow Bell! Then Ben explained to me about everything there is to know about Hogwarts. Then I had to wait for this day, whilst having a vacation in Hawaii. Then here I am, on the Hogwarts Express, going to Hogwarts.
We passed through beautiful hills, the countryside farms, more hills, and, more hills!
Pretty soon, the lunch trolley came in. There was all sorts of food on her cart! But the problem was I didn't know what any of the food was...
Just when I was gonna ask the lady what tasted good, a girl my age came in. She was really pretty! She had wavy red hair, and hazel eyes, with freckles on her nose. She looked really kind too. She had a blue caller shirt on, with a maroon skirt.
"Oh! Sorry! Sorry to budge in. My name's Autumn.", she said, smiling. "Oh, nice to meet you! I'm Miley.", I said. I gestured for her to sit down.
"Would you ladies like anything?", the trolley lady said.
"Uh", I said, looking at all the stuff, having no idea what they are.
I guess Autumn read my mind since she said, "You must be a muggle-born. I'm a pure-blood. We have these type of treats all the time! My favorite is the pumpkin pastry. And the chocolate frogs!", she said. I We gathered a little of each, along with other candy, like acid pops.
"So, which house do you think you'll be sorted in?", I asked, munching on my chocolate frog, looking at my Dumbledore card. Autumn thought for a sec. "Hmm, maybe Ravenclaw? Or Gryffindor? I really don't know. WHat about you?", she asked. I told her my answers were the same as her.
We talked a bit more. I was glad I was making a friend already.
"I think it's time we change into our robes", said Autumn. "Oh yeah. We don't want to be the last ones on the train!", we laughed.
