When I was in primary school I met her on the playground. I was moving from Paris to Britain. She was the friendly yet actually popular girl. From my experiences, they are quite rare. She was the first one to greet me to her lunch table. The summer before Hogwarts (or middle school for Daisy), I was sitting in the shade with her, licking my ice cream and talking about middle school when an owl flew and delivered mail to me. Hogwarts? My first thought was "is this a joke?" But deep inside I knew it was true. What else could explain how I dyed Daisy's hair brick red with my bare hands and nothing else? Why could I remove it a minute later and Daisy's hair still looked healthy? The answer was right here! "Hey Daisy, did you get this too?" "No..." After so many conversations of going to middle school together! "Erm......Emmie, is this a boarding school?" Daisy stared at the paper. "No, no, no no..." "Dai, you're my only friend, how am I going to survive without you?" Silence. "At least you have other friends in middle school, Dai. I don't." "Emmie, you're my closest friend. My only real one." She gave me a weary smile and I hugged her and she hugged back. "We'll always be bonded together no matter what, right, Dai?"
