Herb: Mistletoe is a
parasitic plant that grows on branches of trees, most commonly apple, chestnut,
ash, hawthorn, and poplar trees; mistletoe that grows on Oak trees are the most
rare and sacred. The white berries represent the sun, and were used to invoke
fertility and awaken powers of the sun.

Tree: When Juniper is used
with thyme, is can act as a purification incense or a means of inducing
visions.

Crystal: Ruby is associated
with many forms of astral magic and divination, acting as a balance between
individuality and the rest of humanity. It energizes life-force and inspires
devotion.

       Sowilo
is the rune of the sun. It is the counter-force to cosmic ice in the rune Isa.
