Herb: Also known as nightshade, henbane is poisonous and when ingested causes extreme disorientation and memory loss; it is cousins with the belladonna plant. Often associated with the underworld, due to its sickly appearance and smell, this plant is used in dark magic rituals such as necromancy, spirit evocation, and prophecies. Henbane aligns itself with the water element, and when used as incense it has the power to summon rain. 

Tree: The Alder tree is an
extremely elemental tree, flutes and wands made of this tree are particularly
strong when using elemental magic and manipulating the air. Alder hold strong
ties to the moon and birds; it also provides strength and endurance to the
user.

Crystal: Cat’s eye, also
known as Tiger’s eye, protects the user from most curses, enhances their natural
abilities, provides insight, luck, integrity, willpower, practicality, and
gives the ability to see through illusions.

       Ice
is beautiful and treacherous; it locks life under its surface and keeps it
motionless. However, there is little else as powerful as the slow moving
glacier, which can tear apart even the bedrock as it inches forward. Although
ice generally shows itself as it is, it has the ability to give the illusion of
a solid surface that, with a weak spot in the ice, can swallow the unwary with
surprising swiftness, and soon enough leave hardly a trace. In the most
elementary dynamic, Isa is a building block of the physical world, slowing down
fire energy and solidifying it. Isa is a rune of control; however, when not
kept under control, the user can be consumed with power and pride which leads
to self-glorification, superficial desire and fall for the glitter of false
trappings instead of real spiritual substance. Isa is particularly useful in
attaining stillness of presence.
