The pain and blood progressed from my stomach due to the bullet Tim used on me. My knees dropped to the floor, and my breath quickened. Not worrying about anybody but myself, my heart raced faster. The pain was excruciating. I looked up at him and saw a sinister smirk, when I looked into his grey eyes, all I could see was darkness but looking closer I got to see the tint of regret and the feeling of the old Tim still there.

 My eyes began to grow heavier with sleep, blood leaking out of me, and I feel so weak that I couldn’t even get up on my own. When Tim left  for me to rot; he not only left me in the very same house where I grew up in, he left me in the same house where we fell in love and led me to think we would  have a life together. My eyes couldn’t stay open for long so they dropped all the way down and the last thing I heard was a soft whisper next to my ear when he said “I’m sorry, May,” and with that, darkness consumed me. It’s been fifteen years since the incident, and fifteen years since my death. Now I’m a spirit that can go neither to heaven nor hell, now trapped on earth with no way out of this misery and hate.
