To someone I used to see

Seeing so much pain from someone I just met

Saddness leaking out every word he says

Death hovers over him and his family 

How long before I can never talk to him again 

 For me to be selfish and to never say Merry Christmas and New Year's 

At first I started liking him before begin with someone else 

 For so long of not talking to him, became a couple to another 

Months went by, we started talking again, neither know about the other

If getting the chance to talk to him again

Saying "Sorry, sorry that you were right."

Does it make me a bad person for thinking that if I forget about him would help me not think about death anymore?

For hating death, hating love and scared of life 

Cancer, the visible Grim Reaper; taking people of all ages and not caring who it affects 

As someone said "Life is a beautiful lie and death's a painful truth."
