Hogwarts Daily News Issue #36

Chapter 1
Harry Potter Illustrated Edition

Did you know that there was an illustrated edition of the Harry Potter books? Yes, there is an official Harry Potter Illustrated Version. The artist that makes beautiful artwork in the Illustrated Version is Jim Kay, who has worked with J.K. Rowling before in some Harry Potter artwork.

Jim Kay has not illustrated all the books yet, only 1-4, but I am sure the 5th one will come out soon! His drawings are amazing masterpieces that showcase J.K. Rowling’s beloved Harry Potter books so well.

The artwork in the books and on the cover are in full color and are so detailed. The first three illustrated books can come in a collection.

Some characters in the illustrated may not look like in the movie, but Jim Kay captures everything in the Wizarding World perfectly!

You can buy these amazing illustrated books online on Amazon, or at a bookstore, but I don’t think many bookstores are open.

Jim Kay has also done an illustrated version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so be sure to check that out to! There are countless amazing drawings of magical creatures!

If you want to add Harry Potter books to your library, be sure to get the Harry Potter Illustrated Edition by J.K Rowling and Jim Kay!

QUICK INFO: The Knight Bus

As we all know, the Knight Bus is a purple triple-decker that assists wizards and witches in need. It goes at a very high speed and can fit through very small spaces. It is a modern invention of the wizarding community and it was first thought of in 1865 by the minister Dugald McPhail.

Inside the Knight Bus, there are beds and curtains in the windows during the night and seats during the day.
We know that Harry Potter rode in the Knight Bus for the first time in the Prisoner of Azkaban, when he ran away from Number 4, Privet Drive. The Knight Bus is said to be a rocky trip, so if you have a drink, you probably are going to spill it!
