We were waiting in line when suddenly I realized Hermione was about to slip on a bit of water.I quickly reached for her wrists and hoisted her back up to her feet. Eventually we got to the front of the waterpark line. We were getting on when I realized that the dude that works there was helped Hermione get in carefully. Shoot! I thought to myself. Why didn't I think of that? I looked the guy straight in the eye challenging him to steal my girl and I said "thank you oh so very much but I've got this handled!". I took Hermione's hands and pulled her beside me on the float. The guy looked extremely confused and I started to even feel kind of bad for him. But no time for that because suddenly the ride started with a sudden quick jolt. Hermione was falling off the edge of the float so I attempted to pull her arms back in and with all the movement I ended up holding her waist. I looked away and could feel my face turn hot as I asked "are you alright?". She answered after a few moments hesitation "yes thank you".
