Chapter III: Nocturnal & Undead Creatures
Creatures of the undead are those who have escaped the surly grips of death, through immortality or other means. Some creatures that we will study in this chapter, such as vampires, live amongst us mortal humans . However, not all nocturnal creatures are also undead. A nocturnal creature, is one that either lives, breeds, or hunts in the night. These creatures avoid the day for various reasons, some having no choice, such as werewolves. While others, such as vampires, avoid the day because of the detrimental effects they have to sunlight. Undead creatures, again like the vampire, are immortal.
