Chapter 1- The Beach and How I Love
Chapter 1
Brooke sighed, standing up from her haystack bed she had made. Her house was basically a sunken ship, but on land. It was her home though it wasn't very good, it was home to her. She put on her glasses which were a misty teal with golden seashells on the sides. She walked towards the exit of her room and sat down on the warm sandy beach, hearing the relaxing sound of the waves hitting the shore. Brooke sighed and leaned her head back, trying to relax. All of a sudden, a phoenix flew in front of her with a letter Brooke carefully and gently grabbed the letter off of the bird, her hands were shaking but she was able to read the words;
Dear Brooklyn,
You have been accepted into Bullfrog High, please come by on September first to begin term. Yours sincerely,
Professor Adams (Deputy Headmistress)
