Magizoology: Types of Dragons

Now, for those who are interested in magizoology, we have a summary of brief facts about dragons in general and about each type of them too. As we all know, there has passed several years since the legendary Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts and the world has been evolving since then. So, the famous book «Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them» written by Newt Scamander is a little bit outdated.

Dragons

Dragons are classified as known wizard killers or impossible to handle (XXXXX) by the Ministry of Magic. A female dragon is usually more aggressive and larger than a male, but both have an immunity to most spells. This immunity is still being studied, but it is probable that it is on the dragon's DNA. Dragonhide, blood, heart, liver, claw, and horn are known by their magical properties, but their eggs are considered a Class A Non-Tradable Good. All types of dragons have evolved from one ancient specie. I will be describing the traditional 10 species of dragons and also 5 interbreeds, even though I have a little less information on them. Pure-breeds of Dragons
Antipodean Opaleye:
This dragon is native from Australia and New Zealand. It usually lives in valleys. Its skin is pearly white and his average body length is between 35 to 40 feet, which is considered long. It weighs between two and three tones, because of that, it is considered a medium-sized dragon. Its eyes are crystalline and they have no pupils. Their eggs are pale grey. The Antipodean Opaleye dragons eat medium to large mammals, like sheep. It produces bright red flames, but it has a calm demeanor and only attacks when hungry.
Chinese Fireball (Liondragon):
This dragon is usually found in China. It prefers to live in the mountains, where it eats medium mammals. Its scales are scarlet and it has dark eyes. It is about 25 feet long (medium). Its eggs are brilliant crimson eggs with golden flecks. Females of this species are larger than males and powdered eggshells are used in Chinese magic. This is considered an aggressive dragonCommon Welsh Green:
This beast is native from Wales and it usually lives in the mountains. It has green scales and dark eyes. It is 18 feet long (small) and eats small to medium mammals. Its egg is dark brown with green flecks. The Common Welsh Green uses its scales as camouflage and has a distinct, musical roar.
Hebridean Black:
This dragon is native from the Hebrides. It lives in mountains, where it feeds itself on medium to large mammals. It is black and it has purple eyes. It is 30 feet long (medium). Their eggs are black with purple flecks. The Hebridean Black has ridges along the back and arrow-shaped spike on the end of their tail. This beast produces bright purple flames. This is the most dangerous breed of all.
Hungarian Horntail:
This specie is native to Hungary and lives in mountains and valleys. It is black and has yellow eyes with vertical pupils. It is 50 feet long (long). Its eggs are cement grey with a very thick shell. It eats medium to large mammals. The Hungarian Horntail has a very distinctive roar that sounds like a screeching yowl. It is a very fast flyer.
Norwegian Ridgeback:
This dragon is native from Norway and it lives in mountains. It is 32 to 40 feet long (medium). It is black and has dark eyes. Their eggs are black. This beast feeds on large mammals, mostly aquatic ones. The Norwegian Ridgeback baby dragons begin to breathe fire between one and three months old. It is one of the rarest dragon breeds.
Peruvian Vipertooth:
This dragon is native from Peru and it prefers to live in mountains. Its skin is cooper and it has dark eyes. It is 15 feet long, so it's the smallest breed of dragon. This beast eats small to medium mammals. Their eggs are copper color. The Peruvian Vipertooth is the specie that has the most young per year. They are the specie that has the swiftest flight.
Romanian Longhorn:
It is native from Carpathian Mtns, Romania. This dragon lives in the mountains. It has dark green scales and dark eyes. It is 40 feet long (long). Their eggs are golden. They eat medium to large mammals. They are poached for their golden horns, which are a prized potion ingredient.

Swedish Short-Snout:
This dragon is native from Sweden. It lives in the mountains and eats large mammals. It lives in the mountains and eats large mammals. It is 22 feet long (small). Their eggs are pearly white. The Swedish Short-Snout has a bright blue flame and it is poached for its skin, to make gloves.
Ukrainian Ironbelly:
This dragon is native from Ukraine and it usually lives in mountains. It has metallic greyscales and red eyes. It is 60 feet long (long) and it is the largest breed of dragon. An adult has six tones. Its egg is the same color as its skin, metallic grey and it glows red when hatching. It eats medium to large mammals. The Ukrainian Ironbelly is incredibly strong and has a flame that is 19 times hotter than the boiling point of water. It is an extremely dangerous specie.
Interbreed Dragons
American Greenhorn:
This dragon is native from the northeastern US and it eats small to medium mammals. It is a greenish-blue dragon with dark eyes, that usually lives in forests. It is 52 feet long (long). Its eggs are pale green. The American Greenhorn uses its scales as camouflage.
Canadian Colddrake:
It lives in the forests of Canada and the Northern US. It has bluish-white scales and dark eyes. It is 20 to 25 feet long (medium). Its eggs are bright blue with flecks and the female dragons cover them with snow. It eats large mammals. The Canadian Colddrake doesn't breathe fire.
Dutch Diamondhide:
The Dutch Diamondhide is a dragon that is native to the Netherlands. It usually lives on coasts and forests. It is grey and it has dark eyes. It is 25 ft long (medium). Its egg is mirrored white. It eats small mammals. The Dutch Diamondhide was hunted and poached to extinction by the 1890s for the skin.
Egyptian Short-tail:
The native territory of this kind of dragon is, as the name says, Egypt. It is a 16 feet (small) yellow dragon with dark eyes. Its egg is pale yellow. It eats small mammals. The Egyptian Short-tail only flies when it is frightened. This strange dragon buries itself in the sand during the day.
Portuguese Long-Snout:
This dragon lives in Geres, Portugal, in forests. It is light-green and has dark eyes. It is 20 feet long (small). Its egg is dark green and these dragons only lay one egg in a lifetime, so they are the smallest dragon population in the world. This beast usually eats small mammals.
