I had never seen Luna like that, it was honestly sort of scary. Someone you thought you knew so well suddenly shows you a whole other side of them. I could tell that the others were much more comfortable on the thestrals this time. I wasn't surprised, last time Hermione, Ron, and Ginny hadn't been able to see what they were riding , and that had to have been very tough. I squinted my eyes against the rushing wind, Luna's thestral was in the lead, all the others were following in it's wake. The sun was setting and the sky was tinged with purple and pink. Soon enough the stars had come out and the sky was inky black. I looked down at the lights of muggle cars and houses, it must be warm there, down on the ground, it was freezing up here.

A while later, I don't how long, we had arrived at the ministry. Well at the red telephone booth. We all crammed ourselves in and Malfoy dialed the numbers to make the elevator go down. "Luna? Is anyone even going to be here?" Hermione asked, "Of course." Luna said confidently. "I know that people will be here, but is anyone important enough to let your friend go going to be here?" Hermione sounded worried that Luna would start yelling again. "Of course." Luna said again, and she left it at that. we walked up to the security guard's desk and handed over our wands for examination. "Where can we find Dolores Umbridge?" Luna asked. We all stared at her, I thought we were here to rescue Makayla! That's her name right? I think so... but why does Luna want to visit our ugly old DADA professor? The security guard gave her directions and Luna led the way. "Umm... Luna? Why are we going to see Umbridge?" Harry asked, hatred in his voice. "Because I'm quite sure that she's the one who ordered for all werewolves to be taken to Azkaban." Luna answered, "But I thought Umbridge was in Azkaban herself." Ron said nervously. "She obviously got out somehow." Ginny said bitterly. "How do you know that?" Asked Ron, "Do you have a brain? The security guard gave us directions to her office! If she was in Azkaban he would have told us and she wouldn't have an office!" Ginny said irritably.

We walked down a long hallway and at the end was a door with a sign on it, the sign said:

Dolores J. Umbridge
Head of Werewolf Round-Up

"Need any more confirmation that she's not in Azkaban?" Hermione asked Ron coldly, "Could be a different lady." Ron suggested half-heartedly. We could all tell that he believed it no more than anyone else. I knocked 4 times on the heavy wooden door. "Come in." Said a sugary voice from inside the room. We all exchanged looks of purest loathing and I reluctantly opened the door. Her office looked just like it had at Hogwarts, the plates with the kittens on the walls, the dried flowers, the pink... everything. Umbridge was sitting behind her desk wearing robes of a sickly vibrant pink, a big fake smile plastered on her face. Her eyes flicked from me, to Malfoy, to Ginny, to Luna, to Ron, to Hermione and rested on Harry. "what are you children doing at the ministry?" She asked in a sweet voice. "You've taken something, well actually someone, very important to me." Luna said, stepping forwards. Umbridge's bulging eyes shot onto her. "Well, we can't have that." She said evilly. And I knew immediately that the first part of the plan was doomed.
