After class Nora walked to lunch, still thinking about what happend. She sat down at her normal table and started to eat. She looked over at Ben, who was looking at her and smiled. Nora smiled back, blushing as well. Ben walked over to Nora's table, where she sat alone. "Hey, how r u?" Ben asked Nora, who at the time was eating a turkey and cheese sandwich with mayo. "Good, u?" Nora said as she swalloed a bite of her sandwich. "I could be better. Got a 75 on my math quiz today." Ben said, looking a little bit sad. "Hey," Ben said "You're in my math class, w/ did u get?" "100%" Nora answered. "Jeez that test was hard! You're smart!" He said. "Well, thx..." Nora said blushing harder than ever. This was Nora's chance to ask him, the Valentine's dance was coming up and they could go together. "Hey Ben?" Nora said. "Yeah" Ben replied. "Would u like to go to the Valentine's day dance w/ me?" Nora asked him with all the confidence she had in her, this was it, if he said yes Nora would feel amazing! "Sure! Yeah, that would be gr8!" Ben replied happily. Nora felt amazing! She felt like she had done the greatest thing in the world. She ran off to tell all her friends.
