I once watched a video that showed to me just how much words matter. Words can be used to hurt really badly and if not used correctly can damage your life severely. But there just words right? How much harm can possibly be done? The video showed 2 clips. They were very similar and could be mistaken for being the same video. Except for one thing. One word change. Believe it or not that small word change matters so much! In the first video a girl drops a jug of milk on purpose in the supermarket. The mom gets angry and says "you are stupid". In the second video the same thing happens exactly except for a small change of words. The mom got angry and said " your actions were stupid". The difference is that the girl will grow up trying to change her actions instead of herself.
