Chapter One: The Messenger

Chapter 1
Tom was sitting in his bedroom, staring at the letter in his hands. " Tom, Champion, Olympus.", was written on the top. It had every bit of information about Tom inside, but his address was different. " Olympus? Is Olympus in Greece?", he asked himself. " Tom, it's 9, time for school!", he sister called to him from the floor below him. Tom gave a huge sigh and got up from his bed, stretched a bit, picked up his bag and walked to the car. Tom Philius had everything he dreamed of. Perfect parents, an annoying but caring big sister, and the house of his dreams. His father, Arnold Philius, was the multi-billionaire owner of the Arkilus, a world-wide spread web of companies. His mother was Angleca Jackson, the renowned scientist and the most intelligent person alive. Even though he had all this, Tom still felt something was out of place, or worse, missing. It was 4 months before that he received a letter from an unknown person, saying that he was chosen for a task. The person knew everything about him, but had not yet revealed himself. The strangest thing was that after Tom received the first letter, he threw it in the trash, but it was followed by another letter. " Ignoring is foolish." was written inside, much to the horror of Tom.

" How's my little boy?", asked his mother, not even looking at him. " Could've been better.",Tom replied, and went over to her, and glanced at her Macbook. " Whatcha working on? Quantum Physics? Or the String Theory?", he asked, and his mother gave him a sweet smile. " Neither. Your father received an Email, and he has a doubt if its a virus, so I have to crack it.", she said, and they both glanced back at the screen. " Can see the message?", Tom asked curiously, wondering if he could help his mom out. " Sure!", she replied, and switched over to another document. Tom's eyes widened as the white screen turned black, and written in a small, messy handwriting- " The Messenger."
