The Interviews Begin

Chapter 10
After about an hour of plucking, blow drying and trying on dresses I finally had my outfit. It was a blue strapless dress with a silver necklace. I had on blue eyeshadow, pink blush and very light pink lipstick. My red hair was styled in two buns but there was pieces of hair down. I really liked how I looked because this time my stylist, who I now know was named Ciera, let me choose most of my outfit. I walked out the stylist room and met up with Patrick. He was wearing a pink suit. He half halfheartedly smiled at me as I walked up to him. I smiled back. Lyma then led us to Capitol TV crew. They directed us to a line of other tributes. We were the 4th district there. I saw the tributes from 1, 2 & 6. Glimmer was wearing this hideous short, pink dress. She looked like those loofah they have in the Capitol bathrooms. Marvel was wearing a blue suit with a white shirt underneath. Cato was wearing was wearing a grey shirt with a black shirt and Clove was wearing a long orange dress. The girl from 6 was wearing a puffy blue dress. The boy was wearing a green suit with a yellow shirt underneath. We lined up in front of the tributes from 6. They were talking quietly but stopped as we walked up. It feels like we are always in the most uncomfortable situations with those two. The Careers are chatting and laughing loudly. Glimmer is definitely trying to flirt with Cato but he's ignoring her. I smile knowing that me & Marvel are the only ones who know why. Patrick coughs and I turn around. "Are you okay?" I ask him. He nods, "I was just trying to get your attention since you were staring at the Careers. Why are you staring? Do you like one of the boys?" My face contorts to a look of utter disgust. "No. Definitely not!" I whisper shout. Patrick smiles and I realise he was just trying to wind me up. The elevator pings open and more tributes enter. I see Ellie and she looks so beautiful. She was wearing a light pink dress, a similar colour to Glimmer's. Her dress swished as she walked. She giggles when the boy from 4 talks to her. Eventually all the tributes arrive. I notice the girl from 12 wore a dress that looked like fire. Her stylist is smart. Caesar Flickerman's voice echoes around us and the interviews begin. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Caesar calls up Glimmer, the girl from 1. As soon as she walks onto that stage you can tell what angle she is going for. She is flirty and laughs with a sickly sweet voice. Either she is dumb or she's an amazing actress. Caesar asks a few questions before calling up Marvel. He basically explains he has been wanting to be in the Games since he was a kid. Also, he just wants to kill people. This kid is seriously messed up. Next he calls up Cato. Cato is arrogant an confident. When Caesar asks about love interests he denies it. Apparently, loving someone isn't something Careers should do even though I've seen him with Clove. Then Caesar calls up Clove. She talks about being "the best" at knife throwing. I've seen her at training and she's good, but the best is probably a bit of an exaggeration. Caesar continues down the line. On Ellie's turn I can tell she is super nervous. She talks very softly when Caesar asks her questions. Then the boy is called up. Next thing I know a Capitol TV crew member is pushing me to the stage. I hear Caesar announce my name and I step onto the stage.....
