The Sixth Chapter
Chapter 6
Kenzie was so nervous to be Sorted but her name was called; "Kenzie Maxwell!" Mcgonagall cried. Kenzie nervously walked up and the Hat yelled; "GRYFFINDOR!" Kenzie walked over and sat down at the Gryffindor table.
Kenzie walked into the Girls Dorms and flopped on her bed, opening her trunk and taking out her ukulele and strumming to the beginning of Ocean Eyes. "I've been watching you, for some time, i can't stop thinking 'bout those ocean eyes." She sang, swaying with the music.
"You have a good voice." Hermoine said.
"Thanks." Kenzie said, smiling as she strummed along again.
"I will bring my violin next time and we can play." Hermoine said.
"That'd be lovely." Kenzie smiled, setting her ukulele down and laying on her bed.
"Yeah, it would. Well 'night!" Hermoine said, falling asleep.
"G'night." Kenzie said, falling asleep also.
The next morning, Kenzie awoke with a start. Her chest was rising and falling rapidly. "Kenzie...are you alright?" Hermoine asked, groggily.
"Yeah...yeah...nightmare." Kenzie replied.
"We should probably get up anyways." Hermoine said, sitting up and getting dressed.
"Yeah probably." Kenzie said, getting changed as well. She pulled her hair up into braided pigtails and adjusted her Gryffindor tie and skirt.
"I can't wait to go to the library, they must have such interesting books." Hermoine said, at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall later on that day.
"Maybe we'll visit it after classes." Kenzie said.
"That would be wonderful!" Hermoine exclaimed. Kenzie nodded.
After classes, they studied in the library. Kenzie wanted to play her ukulele so she left early. She sat on her bed and played it. Humming to Ocean Eyes as she played it. "Burning cities an-" She sang but then Hermoine walked in.
