The Fifth Chapter
Chapter 5
Kenzie hopped off the Train, putting her stuff on the trolley and sitting in an empty carriage. She looked around for a friend, but no one seemed to come. Her fingers itched to play her ukulele but she couldn't until she was in Hogwarts. Eventually, someone approached her carriage. "Excuse me...may i sit here?" The girl asked, she had big bushy hair.
"Yeah, sure." Kenzie said, a bit less enthusiastically than normally.
"Thanks. Every other one is full." The girl said, grateful as she sat down in the carriage. "I'm Hermoine Granger and you are?" She asked.
"Kenzie Maxwell." Kenzie replied.
"Pleasure. Have you heard of Hogwarts before?" Hermoine asked.
"No, i was shocked to know it even actually existed." Kenzie admitted.
"I know! Me too." Hermoine said.
"Do you play any instruments?" Kenzie questioned.
"I play the violin at my old school but otherwise no, and i forgot my violin." Hermoine replied, making a sad face.
"I see, i play the ukulele and i have it." Kenzie said.
"Do you know many songs?" Hermoine asked.
"I know a few, not very much though." Kenzie replied. Hermoine nodded and opened her mouth to say something but the carriage stopped.
"We're here." Hermoine beamed, hopping out of the carriage.
"Yeah." Kenzie said, jumping out of the carriage as well and looking up. Hogwarts was so much bigger then she thought but she was glad to have a friend to help her through it. She and Hermoine grinned at each other, linked arms, and headed into Hogwarts.
