Next we have the Fairies, a race of small, flying creatures. These creatures are highly skilled in Magic, as ninety-nine percent of all Fairies will have a Core (Read The Guide to the Magic of Mayka). Fairies tend to have pale skin, though sometimes one will be born with dark skin, light colored hair and eyes, and wings that are see-through that are often in a butterfly-like or bee-like shape. Fairies live for long spans of time, so they are considered “young” even when they are as old as an elder Human. They are very matriarchal, so they tend to be ruled by a Queen rather than a King. The current Fairy Queen is Queen Anna Pearce, a lovely ruling at age hundred and thirty-two. Her husband is the Fairy King Phillip Pearce, aged one hundred and thirty-five. Their son, Prince Abraham Pearce, is a strong warrior, a fighter at only age forty-seven. The Fairy Council is mostly females, with Grandmistress Alannis Howard, the oldest member of the Council, a hundred and fifty-four years; Arch Mage Leilanna Johnson, a hundred and eleven years younger; and Holy Priestess Atlys Lewis, the youngest Council Member at twenty three years old. {The beautiful Queen Riley Pearce of the Fairies is a hundred and sixty-nine and has been ruling for nearly a hundred and fifty years. Fairy King Arslan Pearce, fifteen years her senior, is ruling in Dalia. Their daughter, Princess Tawnie Pearce, the forty-three year old princess, switches between the two kingdoms, learning each kingdom’s ways before she comes to power. She’s being tailed by Grandmaster Bronson Torres, the only male Fairy to be on a council for over two hundred years. Arch Mage Esmond Bell is the princess’ own Magic trainer, and she’s been serving for nearly four hundred years. The Holt Priestess Anges Russell is nearing the end of her days, the oldest Holy Priestess at three hundred and twenty nine.} The Fairies have a very interesting kingdom. They used to have two, Tarjesaint, which was ruled by the Queen, and Dalia, which was ruled by the King. Eventually, the two merged to become the single kingdom Dalia everyone knows today. The reasoning of the name is the Queen when the two merged loved Dalia’s flora better, so the two took on Dalia’s name.
