The Guide to the Races of Mayka

A companion with The Temple of Drafius, this book tells you everything you need to know about the races who populate Mayka! Written by an unknown author, this book (and the rest of the Guides) magically updates itself. {And don't worry about the brackets~ You'll see what they're about as you read The Temple of Drafius}. The other Guides will eventually be published...once I actually do something with them XD

Entry 1, Dragons

Chapter 1
Dragons are huge, scaly beasts with four legs, that end in talons and claws, horns, wings, and a tail. Their scales vary in color, along with their eyes. Dragon eyes tend to be one color with a black slit pupil in the middle. Dragons, surprisingly, also have a Human form. Dragons can transform into their Human form at will, but it takes a lot of their Core Energy. In Human form, Dragons still have their wings, tail, and horns. Their hair also matches their scale color, and their eyes are the same. Dragons can breathe fire, and a few, around forty percent, are able to cast Magic. While only forty percent of Dragons can cast Magic, around eighty percent can cast Fire Magic. The current King of the Dragons is Dragon King Jun, and his glorious wife is Dragon Queen Ming. The two have a beautiful son, Dragon Prince Ye. The Grandmaster Dragon is Wei, and he is joined by Arch Mage Dragon Jian and Holy Priest Dragon Le.{The King of the Dragons at the present time is Dragon King Qin. His parents had sadly passed away, leaving him and his Drakion counterpart to rule at a young age. Thankfully, a new Grandmaster Dragon managed to step up and fulfill the empty space, Grandmaster Dragon Shi.} Dragons have a mysterious bond with a race of barbarians called the Drakions. These two form a bond at a young age, and they are bound for life. Dragons, while they do not have official ages themselves, are considered the same age as their Drakion counterpart, and they often take the same title their Drakion counterpart carries. While Dragons themselves are not known to be massively aggressive, they can be protective, and will attack anyone if there is a threat to their Drakion . The two can sense when there is danger to the other, and if separated, they grow weak, as they draw strength from each other.
