I met a girl today. You see I am a nurse in the South Dimity Hospital. She was very different than the other patients because she didn't always complain instead she had a goal to talk. The thing was that she couldn't. Plenty of doctors had told her that she never would. Horrible way to crush a girls dreams. It really is. But I told her instead "We'll find a way". Now, I know what your'e thinking! You think I'm going to end up crushing her dreams? I'm talking to a diary now?Great! But, anyways I actually believe we can find a way to make her dreams happen. Just a little differently.
~2 weeks later~
Today I wheeled her with that ol' wheelchair on to a stage. About 100 gathered there to see her protest for the first time in weeks. I whispered in her ear "Be careful with your head don't make any sudden movements!". I exited the stage and sat first row there to see her make her speech that I'd seen her rehearse so many times it's not even funny. By now (again why am I talking to a diary?) your'e probably thinking how she's going to say a speech if she can't say a word. That's the thing. She isn't.
~30 minutes later~
The girl quickly types "We can change the world!!!" and the crowd cheered and jumped and gave a standing ovation. Amazing how she was changing the world without saying a word. I smiled and mouthed "I told you!".
