Harry : He became an Auror for the Ministry of Magic and is later appointed head of the department of Aurors He can no longer speak Parsletounge after the destruction of Voldemort's soul fragment within.
Ginny : Ginny plays for the Holyhead Harpies Quidditch team for some time then leaves to establish a family with Harry and writes about Quidditch for the Daily Prophet.
Ron Weasly works at George's store for a time, Weasleys Wizard
Wheezes, then joins Harry as an auror .
Hermoine : She finds her parents in Australia . She works for their Ministry of Magic , greatly improving life for house elves . She later moves to the Department of Magical Laws Enforcement and assists in removing oppressive , pro - pure blood laws. She was also the only me!bed from the trio to go back and complete her seventh year at Hogwarts.
George : He never fully gets over the death of Fred but continues his successful joke shop. He married Angelina Johnson and has two children : a son named Fred and a daughter named Roxanne .

Cho Chang : She went on to marry a muggle .
Neville : He became a professor of herbology at Hogwarts .He also shows of his D.A coin to many admiring student and tells them about his adventures. Neville eventually marries Hannah Abbot , who becomes the new landlady of The Leaky Cauldron.
Kingsley Shacklbolt is the permanent Minister of Magic . Among the reforms itroduced by Shacklebolt ,Azkaban no longer uses Dementors .
Slytherin is no longer the pure blood bastion it was once . Although it's dark reputation lingers . Voldemort's jinx on the Defence Against Dark Arts is broken with his death. There is now a permanent Defence Against Dark Arts Teacher . Harry comes to the Defence Against the Dark Arts class to lecture several times a year . A portrait of Snape doesn't appear in the Headmaster's office as he abandoned his post . Harry ensures the addition of Snape's portrait and publicly reveals his loyalty .
