1. Snape is the only one who doesn`t fall for the diversion (the troll ) and follows Quirrel to the third floor .

2. Snape, during Gryffindor - Slytherin Quidditch match tries to save harry from the cursed broom ,muttering a counter curse .

3. Snape ,who never referee`s, decides to referee the next Quidditch match as an attempt to guard Harry from further mischief .

4 . Snape openly threatens Quirrel , hoping that he`d refrain taking further actions againts Harry .

5. It`s Snape who,duelling Lochkart , teaches Harry the defense spell ` Expelliarmus` which Harry adopts as his signature and even uses it kill Voldemort .

6. Snape kills the snake that apparently threatens Harry after Lochkart failed and Harry who doesn't know that he is a parsletounge is confused and frightened .

7. Snape was worrying sick about Harry when Sirus escaped Azkaban (before they learnt that he was innocent ) and acted accordingly.

8. Snape immediately runs after Harry ,when he realises that Lupin didn't take his Wolfsbane Potion .

9 .Snape stands literally between Harry and his friends and the werewolf shielding them ,even though he is terrified of werewolves ( Lupin almost killed him when he was a teenager) .

10. Snape suggests that Dumbledore share information with Harry , but Dumbledore dismisses the idea ,saying "it`s better not to worry him."

11 . Snape tries to teach Harry Occlumency and even if it fails ( Snape wasn`t good at it and Harry didn`t do what he was supposed to do) , he gave him honest but important advices .

12. Snape slows down the process of making Veritaserum , in order to slow down Umbridge consequently .

13 . Snape gives Umbridge fake Veritaserum when she tries to question Harry about Sirus`s whereabouts .

14. Snape pretends he doesn`t get what Harry is saying in front of Umbridge and dismisses it as if it was not important to avoid further questions .

15. Snape immediately informs the Order of the Phoenix what Harry said in front of Umbridge .

16. Snape , worried when Harry doesn`t get back from the forest , searches the forest for him and it`s him the one who deduces where Harry has gone .

17 . Snape tries to pull Harry out of the idea of investigating Death Eaters`s plans by himself ,which would be too dangerous (that`s why Snape himself is in charge of that )

18 . Snape heals Draco Malfoy after Harry curses him with Sectumsepra , saving not only Draco`s life but also Harry from becoming a murder and his soul from any stain .

19 . Snape pretends that he doesn`t know Harry got hold of his own potion textbook , allowing him to cheat and pass Advanced Potion and to use it to whatever purpose it might suit their cause .

20. Snape reminds Harry of the importance of closing his mind, while he`s still pretending he`s working for Voldemort ( and deflects his attack instead of fighting back )

21. As Harry gets under attack , Snape literally roars for it stop , on the pretext that Harry belongs to the Dark Lord .

22. Snape is the only one who comes up with the idea that that the Order uses decoys , identical Potters , to keep the real Harry safe.

23. Snape puts the Gryffindor sword in the lake and makes sure that Harry finds it , guiding him through his patronus .

24. Also , Snape waits for Ron to come and rescue Harry from the lake before leaving , just to be sure he would be safe .

25. Snape gives Harry his memories to pass on Dumbledore`s last message and make sure that he knows how to defeat Voldemort .
