The rules
Chapter 1
When Harry woke up on Sunday, he was still quite tired. He got dressed and went down to the Great Hall for breakfast, but he was shocked by a new school rule poster reading:
By the reading of Educational Decree Number 208, no students are allowed snogging in-between classes and in free periods.
"WHAT??!" Harry exclaimed , so loudly that Ron and Hermione came rushing down the stairs. "What's wrong with you?" Ron and Hermione said together. "LOOK!!!" Harry screeched.
Ron and Hermione put their hands to their mouths; they loved going the the Three Broomsticks and snogging there. "Well, " Decided Harry, "If you want to kiss each other, I presume you'll have to do it in the Room Of Requirement, then."
And that was agreed on by the three of them and Ginny.
The next day, Harry was going to the Room Of Requirement when he bumped into Ginny. They were about to snog each other when they were in the Room when Filch entered and cackled, "DETENTION FOR BOTH OF YOU!"
Oh no, thought Harry and he glanced at Ginny, who was staring ahead as they walked to detention together.
"For detention," rasped Filch," you two will be polishing my #208 board and writing it's lines out 100 times each."
"Ughhh," muttered Harry under his breath. He always hated detention with Filch.
(2 and a half hours later when Harry had finished detention. Ginny finished half an hour before he did, so she was already in the common room.)
"Hey Ginny!"
"Whassamatter?" Ginny was still drowsy.
"I gotta tell you something."
"Whasisit?"
"In the last minutes of detention, I modified Filch's memory so he doesn't know about the Room Of Requirement at all!"
"Brilliant, Harry. Well done."
"Why are you so unenthusiastic?"
"Because I am so tired, but because you woke me up, I'm gonna tell you something too."
"What's That?"
"Hermione and Ron are snogging on Ron's bed. We can do the same, as you and Ron can't come up to the Girls Dormitories."
"You're a genius, Ginny!"
"Thanks, Harry! And by the way, because you've finished your Veritaserum essay and I haven't, can you help me with mine?"
"Sure!"
And Night fell.
