Happy Birthday!
Chapter 1
It's my birthday today. I am turning 17. I will be going back to Hogwarts for my last year in a few months. I decide to sleep in, as a present to myself. I wake up a little while later. I hear Mom and Dad bustling around downstairs, so i decide to get up.
Once I am dressed and ready for the day, I look around my room before going downstairs. I decorated my own room. My mom is an Auror, and my dad is a professor at Hogwarts. They are both very good at magic, and Mom managed to make my ceiling like the ceiling in the Great Hall, so it looks like the sky outside. The walls are painted powder blue, and my bed has dark blue sheets.
I take one last look in the mirror. I see my brown hair pulled up into a bun, my soft blue eyes, and my earrings in the shape of white stars.
I walk downstairs and see a pile of presents on the table. "Morning Mom, morning Dad." I say to announce my presence. "Happy birthday, Livvie!" they say. "Look at you! My little girl, all grown up." Dad says, and I smile. Mom asks me, "Breakfast or presents first?" "Um, breakfast, I'm starving."
I eat two cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then I get ready to open my presents. I am just about to start opening my third present, when there's a crash coming from the hallway. "I'l go see what that was." I walk into the hall, and stepping through the dust and rubble is none other than Bellatrix Lestrange.
