I had always had one role model in my life. One wizard to look up to. Harry Potter was legendary. Everyone knew about Harry. So I wanted to be Harry. I could become Harry. Then maybe my father wouldn't be so disappointed in me all the time. So, I gathered all the information I had about him. Researched his personal life. Read books about him. Looked for rumors of him. I would think every once in a while, what is Harry doing at this very moment? I attempted giving myself the same scar but my father caught me in the moment. I tried circular glasses even. I dressed up as him on Halloween every single year. But no matter how much I tried, I never got famous. My father would say "such a disappointment, my son" while I tried to sleep every night. I pushed myself harder so that day that he would come to Hogwarts we'd be best friends. In fact, eventually, I'd replace him. I'd be so popular people forgot about him. He'd teach me his ways and we'd pull off unforgettable pranks and jokes. I even dreamt about all these things. Then, I actually met Harry at Hogwarts and I realized the sad truth. I could never be as good as him. Some other boy had accidentally become friends with him. To think that all those years to get rejected. I then noticed what it would take to get Harry's attention. I'd have to pull better pranks and impress him, he'd come back begging in no time to be friends with me. Then I'd take his place.
