Okay, so since when do we say that Hufflepuffs are always the shy and lovely kind of person. They are LOYAL. A bully can be loyal to his 'friends', a popular person can be loyal to his 'followers'. Hufflepuffs can be anything they want and being loyal isn't going to push them out of it.
