Inhabitants of the Forbidden Forest.

Chapter 3
Here are the inhabitants that reside in the Forbidden Forest:

Centaurs
Unicorns
Acromantulas
Werewolf cubs
Bowtruckles
A Flying Ford Anglia
The Occasional Giant

Now how to survive an encounter with them:

Centaur
If you meet a centaur, it is wise to be extremely respectful and polite. They are very intelligent, insulted easily, and are capable of human speech. If you meet an angry centaur, do not attack them. It's best to just wish for Grawp to rescue you.

Unicorns
If you meet a unicorn, they are usually gentle creatures. These, like Centaurs, should be treated with the utmost respect.

Acromantulas
If you meet an Acromantula (or have the misfortune to stumble upon the colony), they are extremely likely to attack you at once. The spell that can help you is "Arania Exumai!". However, if there are a lot of them, I am afraid that you will not be able to make it out, unless the Ford Anglia helps you.

Werewolf Cubs
If you meet a Werewolf Cub, they are unlikely to harm you. They resemble normal wolves, and do not transform. The only difference between them and normal wolves, is that they have abnormally high intelligence. To learn more about Werewolf cubs, see Pottermore.

Bowtruckles
If you meet a Bowtruckle, they should not be hostile unless you attempt to harm the tree in which they reside. If they start to become angry, pacify them with fairy eggs or wood lice.

A Flying Ford Anglia
If you meet the Flying Ford Anglia, you are in luck! The Anglia will likely give you a ride out of the forest, or help you out of a tight spot.

Grawp
If you meet Grawp, be very careful. He is on the small side for a giant, but still big. Don't make him angry or let him pick you up, and you should be okay.
