(First of all I'm sorry for not keeping this up to date. I have been pretty down lately, and just have not felt like doing stuff.)

Bill was still awake. He cold not make himself sleep. It was late at night of Christmas Eve, plenty of kids were still awake. That's just how some kids do Christmas. Bill was awake for a different reason. He had received an Owl earlier that day informing him From Ellie, (Who had gone back to the orphanage for Christmas, for reason's that no one knew) Ellie apparently was in danger and she didn't know if she would be back for school.
The next morning while everyone was opening gifts, Bill was puzzling over the letter from Ellie. Multiple thing's were spelled wrong. It made no sense since Ellie always spell checked Bill and Oliver's essay's. Sometimes she even spell checked Tonkes.
Bill felt someone tap his shoulder. Oliver gestured to the gifts while looking at Bill. Bill got up from his chair and began opening gifts with Oliver.

A few days later Ellie should have been back. But she wasn't. Everyone was confused to were she had gone. Bill became very quiet, as she must have sent him a clue. He had sent her an Owl back to no reply. Bill stayed up that night reading, and re-reading the letter from Ellie. On the third day of Ellie being missing. Bill started hearing her voice in the castle even though he knew she wasn't there. He didn't find anything. The next night he did the same, getting no sleep yet again. This went on for many days eventually making 3 days of sleep deprivation.
On the 4th day of Ellie being missing Bill was walking down the hall with Oliver. His eyes heavy from his lack of sleep. He closed them fr a moment and found himself just about falling asleep right there and then. Bill stopped walking. Oliver turned, and signed Bill's name. Bill began to sign back when he collapsed on the floor. Oliver rushed over to his over tired friend, not knowing of Bill's lack of sleep.
They were mostly alone in the hall, but there were two 4th year Slytherin girls. One ran over to see what happened, while the other ran of for a teacher.
Bill lie semi-conscious on the floor while Oliver was shaking him. The Slytherin girl clearly knew Oliver was deaf, but in the moment tried to talk to him. She then realized her mistake.
Professor Snape came around the corner, the other Slytherin right behind him. And behind her was professor Dumbledore.
Dumbledore rushed over to Bill.

Bill slowly opened his eyes. He was lying in a hospital wing bed, again. Bill began to sit up. Madam Pomfrey approached him.
"How are you feeling?" she asked.
"Fine. Would you mind telling me how long I was out for?" Bill asked.
"4 days I believe," she said. "You really need to sleep more."
"4 days? Has Ellie-" Bill began to ask. Bill knew, judging by Madam Pomfrey's face, that Ellie had not returned. "I see."
Later that day Bill was eating dinner with Oliver. Oliver was catching Bill up on the school work he missed. Once they finished 'talking' about charms. Bill 'told' Oliver about Ellie's letter. After the two boys finished eating they returned to their common room, to find the letter.
'I get it! Oliver signed.
"You do?" Bill asked.
'See, the missing letters spell out a message. C-A-N-T-C-O-M-E-B-A-C-K-M-E-S-S-A-G-E-S-B-E-I-N-G-I--N-T-E-R-C-E-P-T-E-D-S-I-C-K-F-R-I-E-N-D' Oliver signed each letter individually. 'We should write back a message in code to show we understand.'
"Yes we should." Bill agreed. He grabbed a piece of paper, and began writing his message.
