Ii - Potions

Chapter 4

The potions mentioned here are not particularly the Potions you may think are, as these are more simple than the kind of potions wizarding academies teach their students. The only requirements for these potions are flasks, Basilisk venom, dragon saliva, black tar, holy water, golem rock, herbs, and a bag of dirt.

 Potion I - Healing Potion

The simplest potion perfect for beginners to create, this potion requires holy water, herbs, and a flask. You pour in a pint of holy water in the cauldron, drop in a pinch of herbs, and stir until you find purple smoke coming out of the mixture. Pour in some of the liquid into a flask, and it will be useful for curing minor illnesses by drinking or healing injuries by pouring the potion to the injury.

 Potion II - Speed Potion

This potion will cause the drinker to become hyperactive and move very fast. It will require dragon saliva, golem rock, and a flask. You first insert a cup of dragon saliva and then drop in a brick made by golem rocks. Stir five times, and you can take the potion in a flask.

 Potion III - Float Potion

Slightly similar to the Speed Potion, this potion will require a flask, dragon saliva, and some herbs. You first add in dragon saliva. Wait for about a minute until you see green smoke from the cauldron and add in herbs. Stir five times, and immediately insert the potion into a flask, as it can evaporate when you leave it there for more than five minutes. This potion will make the drinker float an average of five feet above air for approximately thirty minutes.

 Potion IV - Poison Potion

This potion will cause the drinker to become infected with poison, though it would go away in about 10~15 minutes. You need basilisk venom with herbs and a flask. You first insert the basilisk venom, then come back in about ten minutes. You then add the herbs and stir six times and let it brew for thirty seconds. Then you stir twice and take the potion after twenty seconds, as you can pollute the potion when you take it earlier than twenty seconds.

 Potion V - Burn Potion

For this potion, you need black tar and golem rock along with a flask. You first pour the black tar and let it brew for thirty seconds. When you return, you add the golem rock and stir seven times. Leave to brew for fifty minutes, and return to stir five times. Now you can collect the potion in your flask and use it to experience unharming fire around you with extraodrinarily fast speed. You may become tired more easily when you use this potion to run, but this potion can make your speed fast than how fast the Speed Potion can make you.

 Potion VI - Death Potion

Alas, the most dangerous and difficult potion of all! This potion requires black tar, golem rock, herbs, and a bag of dirt. You must first insert the black tar and then add the golem rock. Stir twelve times and leave to brew for twenty minutes. Then add the herbs and come back in two hours. Stir twenty-two times and add a bag of dirt. Stir twice and leave to brew for an hour and stir once anit-clockwise and leave to brew for seven minutes. You can then collect the potion in a flask carefully, the potion can burn skin slightly. This potion must be used and managed with great care, as a misuse of this can put you in Azkaban.
