Chapter 34- Quidditch
Chapter 34
I run down to the Quidditch pitch and pull my hair up into a ponytail. I see the whole Slytherin team there. "I'm here...i'm here." I wheeze, out of breath from running.
"Where were you?" Marcus Flint, the captain of the Slytherin Team demands.
"I had to go...do something." I shoot back.
'Whatever, you're the Seeker for the team, and you have to meet all the other Team's Seeker's." Says Flint. I roll my eyes.
"Ok, who do i meet first, Flint?" I ask.
"Gryffindors." Says Flint, with a smirk.
"Ugh, whyyy?" I ask. I see Crucia smirking.
"Go, or else you're fired." Says Flint, walking off. I head over to the Gryffindors.
"Who's the Seeker here?" I ask, crossing my arms and glaring at each of them. Finally, the Captain of the Gryffindor team steps up.
"Harry Potter." Says Wood, the Captain of Gryffindor.
"Potter?!" I ask, flabbergasted.
"Yep." Says Wood, stepping back and pushing Potter forward.
"Hi." Says Potter, i glare at him.
"Looks like you're my competition. If you'd even call yourself that." I say.
"I could say the same for you." Says Potter.
"I can't wait until you lose, against me. You'll wish you were never born, Potter. Mark my words." I say.
"Oh yeah? I'd like to see you try, Riddle." Says Potter.
"What's your broomstick model?" I ask.
"Nimbus 2000. And you?" Potter asks.
"Nimbus 2000 as well." I say.
"Cool." Says Potter. I roll my eyes and walk off.
"I did it." I say to Flint.
"Good, now go meet Ravenclaw's." Says Flint, nodding towards the Ravenclaw's. I trudge over there.
"Who's your Seeker?" I ask.
"Me." Says a girl with long black hair stepping forward.
"And you are?" I ask.
"Chang. Cho Chang." Says the girl. "You?"
"Les- Riddle. Sophie Riddle." I say, walking off.
After practice, i learn that our first match will be on Friday and it will be against Gryffindor. Good, i get to be against Potter. I walk back to the common room with Crucia and Draco.
