I walk into this empty broom closet and close my eyes. 'Man, it's been a looonng day' i think to myself. The door opens and my pet snake slithers in. "Scorpion!" I say excitedly. "How did you get here?"

"I'm a very ssmart ssnake." Says Scorpion. Man, i'm lucky to be a Parseltongue.

"That's true. Merlin's beard! What if Dumbledore finds out, i'll be expelled!" I say, shuddering to think about it.

"Maybe SSSnape will underssstand." Says Scorpion.

"I don't want to talk to him, Scorpion." I say, petting Scorpion's head gently.

"Well, what do you want more? Me to sssstay or not?" Scorpion asks.

"Well i want you to stay, of course!" I say. Scorpion nods.

"Then go to SSSnape." Says Scorpion, slithering onto my shoulders.

"I will tommorow. Right now i need sleep." I say, standing up and walking to the Slytherin common room with Scorpion on my shoulders.
