Pathways - Poltergeist

Chapter 5

This is one of many paths you might take--either by choice or destiny--in your afterlife.

Poltergeist

If this path is for you, it is less likely to be a pathway you will choose and more likely to be one that pulls you to it.  People who eventually follow this path often report that they feel drawn to it uncontrollably.  They report feeling chaotic and unable to acclimate to the general state of death. People "pulled" toward this path were often mercurial in life and will continue to be so in their death. One thing that is important to note about the path of the poltergeist is that your behavior as such can be wildly divergent.

Unlike a ghost, you will be able to have some physical contact with the world around you. You will be able to touch and move objects and possibly even people. You will have a more physical form. Some poltergeists, especially those with a particularly mercurial past, end up becoming very disruptive spirits.  This is not always the case and some poltergeists are perfectly able to live along side living beings with no negative outcomes to either party, but the draw of the poltergeist path and the influence of the mercurial, even chaotic, past life will influence that one way or another.

Nothing beyond this is really known about this path, because once it begins to draw someone in and they accept it, that person quickly loses touch with the limbo state of death and moves on to their pathway and final destination, aka the poltergeist. Thus, it is not possible for us to say if you will have a choice in whether you become a peaceful or disruptive type of spirit.
