A Different Point of View

Chapter 22
She was angry. Really, really angry. Ever since Malfoy had started ignoring her, and, presumably, hanging out with that mudblood Granger, she had wanted to take the attention back. Was it even that? No...it was more like she wanted revenge.
"Blaise!" she screeched, half sashaying, half stomping towards the fellow Slytherin. "Tell me!!!" she screamed, face red. "And WHY are you talking to Weaslette???" she hissed, turning to Ginny.
"Idiot." the redhead mumbled under her breath, glancing knowingly back at Blaise and walking off.
"You were talking about me!" Pansy huffed angerly, glaring.
"Not everything's about you." mumbled Blaise, turning away and walking off in the opposite direction. She let out a shrill scream that echoed through the corridor; fists clenched and face the same fiery color as Ginny's hair, she stalked back towards the Slytherin Common Room.

Pansy felt like crying. She was a Slytherin- a Parkinson, furthermore. They didn't cry. But learning about Draco and Hermione, Blaise and Ginny talking behind her back about who knows what, and just everything that had happened...she felt worthless. No one else had ever been told that. She had tried to tell her best friend, Millicent, but then chickened out because Theodore Nott had walked by. Internally, this was just another thing that was added on to her pile of self- doubt. Why didn't Draco like her? Why wasn't she good enough? Why was mudblood Granger, of all people, the person whom he liked?
"Pansy?" said a voice, the door to the dormitory creaking open.
"Go away!" she screamed, throwing a green and black embroidered pillow in the direction of whomever had walked in. She looked over, tears streaming down her face. "Leave me alone, Millicent." she hissed, dark circles under her eyes.
"Are you-"
"LEAVE!" And with that, her roommate left.
Why, why, why. That was the question everyone asked themselves when they needed an answer. Why, why, why. But Pansy didn't know why. She didn't know what to do next, what else Granger was going to take from her, what revenge Ron might do to get even with Hermione. For some reason, that caused a slight smile to creep up on to her face. Revenge on mudblood Granger...that sounded appealing. But, she couldn't do it alone- she would need someone else with the same motive. Lavender? She was too fickle, too annoying. Her eyes suddenly lit up, and she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Ron..." she whispered to herself, smiling with satisfaction. "Ron."
