Chapter 5
Hermione POV
I was kidnapped by Bellatrix. We’re at the LeStrange’s place. It’s quite nice. I expected skulls and human bones as decoration. Once we get there, she removes the Silencio charm. “Tell me everything you know about the Grangers!” She barks. “Why should I tell you?” I retort.
She does that awful high-pitched laugh/squeal thingy.
“5,4,3,2,-”
I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I don’t want anything to happen. “Okay!”
I say.
“I was adopted around five, I think. I don’t remember anything before that. My parents names are-”
“Stop.” She interrupts. “I have all I need.” She sits down, and her expression softens. “Hermione- I was the one who gave you that locket.”
I was, to put it simply, shocked. “Dumbledore said that my parents gave me this locket.” I state.
She nods. “I know that.” She says it in a voice barely above a whisper, but the power of the words stings me.
