The next morning I got a letter from Kingsley. It read,

Dear Lana,
I do believe that we have some things to clear up. Your adoptive parents were becoming too much of a distraction. We do apologize for this, but you were doing hardly any work for the Order. There are more important things than two meddlesome Muggles. There have been Voldemort sightings, informing us that he has, indeed, returned. Umm, what? The Order kills the Grangers and thinks that an apology will suffice? And I have to be a spy for those murderers? Suddenly I realize I’m in a house full of people who kill daily.
