Wild demonic beasts are demonic beasts who's crest stone got cracked. They seem to lose intelligence (as demonstrated by the records of wild demonic beasts attacking everyone and everything in sight) in exchange for a protective coat of armor. They also gain the ability to spit poison at their enemies. Strangely, there are no records of a wild winged demonic beast.
