Chapter 3
~two years later in third year~
~Draco's pov~
Ever since the accident two years ago, Phoenix hated me. And I guess, I kind of started hating her too, because she just shut me out. I guess she had a good reason, but still. Of course we get paired in every class, and she gets mad at me for being one second late. Though I'm never usually at classes anymore. The professors just stopped expecting me anywhere. Most of the girls, and a few boys, including that horrible Potter boy have fallen for me. I string them along. I guess I'm just not the type of person for a long term relationship. I'm known as the player of Hogwarts. But guess who would be the school's top player if I wasn't here. Yeah, Phoenix. She's kissed almost every boy at Hogwarts. In all the houses. She's never been in a relationship for more than a week. And it's never her to get heartbroken. She was falling for me two years ago. I could tell. Then the accident happened. I guess she just thinks that she can't trust anyone. I wouldn't. I walk up several flights of stairs, reaching the seventh floor. I turn the corner, and pace in front of the wall. A door appears and I turn the handle and enter.
