Backstory
I didn't really have an unusual life before attending Hogwarts. My parents were a wizard and witch, but we weren't one of the old and rich families. At age eleven, I was accepted to Hogwarts with little fanfare, and my parents took me to Diagon Alley to buy my supplies, again, with little fanfare. Once I actually arrived at Hogwarts, I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I wasn't a Hatstall, but it wasn't instantaneous. The Hat - and I, to be honest - seriously considering placing me in Slytherin, but I ended up in Ravenclaw nonetheless. Ever since I learned of Curse-Breakers, I knew I wanted to be one. I mean, come on! DADA and Ancient Runes in one job! It's perfect!
