Backstory

The day I received my Hogwarts letter my mother, being a witch, was ecstatic. I was also excited, but I think she was more looking forward to it because she hadn't been back to the Wizarding World since she had met my father, who was a muggle. When I turned seven, my older brother Henry bought me my first broomstick. I was able to fly around in our backyard due to the dense trees making it impossible for muggles to see through. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a Hufflepuff because that's what my mother was, and she had told me many stories about that house. My parents would often take me on trips to Hogsmeade to meet Henry when Hogwarts had scheduled a visit. On one of these trips I bought my very first pet, an owl named Edgar, from a small vendor. On September 1, 2018, my parents saw Henry and I off at Platform 9 3/4. Henry for his sixth year, and mine for my first. After seeing Hogwarts for the first time, I knew it was my home.
