Backstory
Ever since I was young, I have fascinated with books. My parents, a Squib father and a Muggle mother, always encouraged my reading habits. You can imagine my excitement when I saw the Ilvermorny Library when I was a first-year. In fact, I was in there so much that in my third-year, the librarian asked me if I would like to become an apprentice. Naturally, I agreed. She taught me many things, including how to repair books. Years of education and apprenticeship later, I opened the Quill & Needle Book Repair Shop in Diagon Alley, where I repair books BY HAND (as a tribute to my Muggle-born heritage) from every genre, from children's books to giant, fragile, 1000-page tomes. Now while I have been told many many many times that fixing a book with a spell would be easier, I find that repairing the book by hand very relaxing and more rewarding than flicking my wrist and saying a spell.
