Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first, I thought it was just a joke, ya know just a story that you are told as a child? Anyway, my mum and granddad took me shopping in London, they were so excited, so was I. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up my wand, getting my uniform and my books. I picked a lizard as a pet though I would be different, hopefully, it will be cool.
When we finally got to Hogwarts, I was curious to see how we get put into our houses, the sorting hat was scary at first and it took a while to chose between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Eventually, I was chosen into Ravenclaw the hat said it because I have the potential intelligent, determined, cunning, and mischievous, oh, and that I knew that knowledge is power or at least that’s what I have always been told.
My favorite lesson has to be transfiguration, the ability to turn one thing into another is just amazing! The applications are so much! Thankfully in Ravenclaw, it didn’t matter that I was a half-blood, unlike in Slytherin. My Grandad worked for the ministry during the ‘dark time’ so he taught me that magic was to be used properly.
